Well, the Whyte Dove Press First Annual Worldwide Web Writing Contest turned out to be NO CONTEST.
We thought beginning and not-so-beginning writers would eagerly avail themselves of the opportunity to win cash in a contest with no entry fee. Not so. Fewer than five people entered in every category. So … NO CONTEST.
But … the efforts of the few who entered must not go unrewarded. We at Whyte Dove Press will be providing a brief critique to each participant.
Because we care … about individuals.
The contest, like everything else in this life, is only temporary. People are eternal. Each person is of infinite worth, and so we try to treat them as worthy.
